, a gold-medal-winning athlete and organizer in national Sando and Kourash competitions, has been named the committee's General Secretary.

The ad-hoc panel was officially declared through an order signed by National Sports Council (NSC) Executive Director Md. Daulatuzzaman Khan on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The NSC order cited the failure of the previous ad-hoc body to organize elections and transfer power according to the confederation's constitution, leading to its dissolution and the formation of this new committee under amended provisions of the National Sports Council Act, 2018.

The new committee features six Vice-Presidents: Jasmine Nahar (Secretary, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education), Md. Monirul Islam, Engr. Md. Abdul Halim, Mohammad Tarikul Alam, Md. Shahidul Islam, and Shahed Wahed Ali. Md. Shahadat Hossain Khan and Saeed Md. Alvi will serve as Joint Secretaries, while Md. Habibullah Parvez (Chairman of RBFC Fight Promotion and MD of Champion Edge Limited) takes charge as Treasurer. Per NSC directives, the ad-hoc committee must organize formal elections and hand over executive responsibility to the newly elected body within three months.
