In an official letter addressed to Dhaka, Prime Minister Balendra Shah referenced the condolence motion adopted by the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad on August 27 for those who lost their lives in the floods, calling it a touching manifestation of solidarity.
Highlighting long-standing bilateral ties, Shah noted that Bangladesh is not merely a close neighbor but a cherished friend, and emphasized that this collaborative humanitarian gesture sets a strong precedent for regional solidarity.
