Speaking to reporters on Saturday after inaugurating the nationwide special Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign at the T&T playground in Mohakhali's Korail slum, the Minister condemned the nighttime destruction as entirely unexpected, emphasizing that legal ownership matters should be decided judicially.
He assured that steps will be taken to ensure the continuation of the vaccination program under police supervision and warned that strict measures will be taken to prevent any future excesses. Meanwhile, Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Administrator Shafiqul Islam Khan stated that a case has been filed, and authorities are using CCTV footage to identify and arrest the culprits involved in Thursday night's attack, where over 200 masked individuals reportedly vandalized and demolished the facility.
