Joint Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md. Mahidul Islam and Home Minister Salauddin Ahmed both confirmed that during a midnight land occupation attempt involving two conflicting parties over a 35-katha plot, the tin-shed structure housing Salman's studio was severely damaged. Police dispatched units following a 999 call, recovering bullet casings and local weapons from the scene while arresting three suspects—identified in part as Mamun (32) and Aslam (24). Authorities noted that while Salman reported extortion on social media, preliminary investigations indicate his studio was collateral damage in the property dispute, with formal legal proceedings currently underway at Cantonment Police Station.
