Dr. Mahmudur Rahman, Editor of the Daily Amar Desh, stated that while the July Mass Uprising successfully brought down fascism, the Gen-Z generation's core aspirations for comprehensive state reform remain unfulfilled. Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion titled "July Charter After a Year: Exchange of Views with Youth Stakeholders of the Mass Uprising" held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the National Press Club in Dhaka, he urged all Bangladesh-pro political forces to prepare for another revolution to safeguard national sovereignty.
Organized by the Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) and chaired by party chairman Mojibur Rahman Monju, the meeting brought together prominent civic leaders, former prosecutors, and youth organizers. Dr. Mahmudur Rahman pointed out that the process of formulating the July Charter suffered from procedural flaws, particularly by prioritizing elections before solidifying reform. He cautioned against post-election divisions and credit-seeking among revolutionary factions, calling for a National Convention of all Bangladesh-pro parties to build unified resistance against lingering fascist elements.
