State Minister for Local Government Mir Shahe Alam has called upon China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) to step up investments in Bangladesh's infrastructure development, safe drinking water supply, urban drainage, and waste management systems.

The call was made during a high-level bilateral meeting on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, held at the conference room of the Local Government Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat with a CRCC delegation led by its Chairman, Dai Hegen.
