Fire at Mohakhali Building Brought Under Control
A fire that broke out at an old building behind the British American Tobacco facility in the capital's Mohakhali area on Thursday morning has been brought under control by the Fire Service and Civil Defense.
Three firefighting units responded to the scene and successfully brought the flames under control at 12:40 PM, according to Talha Bin Zosim, an official from the Fire Service Headquarters Media Cell.
The Fire Service was first alerted to the blaze at 11:12 AM on Thursday (September 10).
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be determined immediately. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
