Free tree saplings have been distributed among the members under the initiative of the Palli Sanchay Bank, Sherpur Sadar Branch. Following the sapling distribution, a tree plantation program was also observed.

The program took place on Thursday (September 10) morning at the Palli Sanchay Bank Sherpur Sadar Branch. Sherpur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Asma Binte Rafiq was present on the occasion. After the distribution activity, branch manager Md. Mozammel Haque Ripon, along with colleagues, planted tree saplings across various locations within the upazila premises.

Md. Mozammel Haque Ripon stated that to implement the vision of planting 25 crore saplings announced by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Palli Sanchay Bank has undertaken a special program. As part of the bank's social responsibility initiative to fulfill "Bangladesh First: Election Manifesto 2026," tree plantation and sapling distribution programs have been adopted nationwide. In continuation of this, the Palli Sanchay Bank, Sherpur Sadar Branch, distributed saplings among association members and conducted the tree plantation program.
