Under the initiative of the upazila fisheries department, 380 kg of fish fry have been released into various government and open water bodies in Dhobaura, Mymensingh. On Thursday (September 10), the fry were released aimed at increasing native fish production, reproduction, and conserving aquatic biodiversity.

The event was attended by Dhobaura Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mosharraf Hossain, District Fisheries Officer Arafat Hossain, and Upazila Fisheries Officer Uzzal Hossain, along with other officials and staff of the fisheries department. The upazila administration and fisheries division stated that such activities to enrich fisheries resources will continue.
