"A Person Respected Worldwide Has Been Despicably Insulted": Rohul Kabir Rizvi
Rohul Kabir Rizvi addressing attendees during the humanitarian assistance program in Charbhadrasan upazila, Faridpur.

BNP Acting Secretary-General and Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Rohul Kabir Rizvi has strongly condemned recent despicable attacks and insults directed at Professor Muhammad Yunus, stating that global figures respected worldwide should not face such treatment and that the citizens of Bangladesh reject such behavior.

Speaking on Wednesday afternoon (October 14, 2026) as chief guest at a welfare distribution event organized by 'Amra BNP Paribar' in Char Sarvandia village, Gazirtek union, Charbhadrasan upazila of Faridpur, Rizvi warned that conspiracies are actively being hatched from abroad by fugitive elements using siphoned national wealth to sabotage the elected government and destabilize the country, pointing to recent subversive attempts including cocktail explosions near the Prime Minister's Office.

During the program, Rizvi distributed humanitarian aid on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, handing over the keys to a newly constructed house to Lokai Biswas, giving sewing machines to ten underprivileged women, and providing medical financial assistance to ailing party workers. Chaired by Faridpur-4 Member of Parliament Shahidul Islam Babul, the event was also addressed by Faridpur-3 MP Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf, District BNP Convener Syed Modarresh Ali Isha, and General Secretary AKM Kibria Swapan.
