Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) Chairman Mojibur Rahman Monju has criticized the government, stating that administrative failure and mismanagement are exacerbating the country's economic crisis. Speaking at a special meeting of the central executive committee at the party's central office on Monday, November 2, 2026, Monju emphasized that unchecked commodity prices, acute power and energy shortages, and deteriorating law and order are pushing the nation into severe uncertainty.
Addressing central leaders, Monju noted that no visible recovery has occurred in the banking sector or capital markets. He warned that fresh crises are emerging in the readymade garment (RMG) and manpower export sectors. Pointing to the ongoing garment worker demonstrations over wage structures, he cautioned that unless properly managed, the labor unrest could spill over into other occupational sectors.
