Former Member of Parliament for Noakhali-1 (Chatkhil) and Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Salah Uddin Kamran, has declared his readiness to serve in executive cabinet roles to establish a transparent, non-discriminatory, and corruption-free administration.

In an exclusive interview with Dainik Sokaler Somoy published on Monday (October 5, 2026), Advocate Kamran outlined his primary governance priorities if entrusted with cabinet responsibilities by party leadership. He cited his dual foundation of professional legal expertise at the Supreme Court and deep-rooted grassroots connections built through his family's political legacy, including his late father Ruhul Amin. Outlining his policy agenda, Kamran emphasized a zero-tolerance policy toward extortion and market cartels manipulating commodity prices, advocating for strict legal enforcement and modernized market surveillance. Regarding local infrastructure development in Noakhali-1, he pledged to modernize rural road networks, upgrade primary healthcare facilities, and create technical employment opportunities for the youth.
