BNP Standing Committee Member and Advisor to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas has returned to Dhaka after completing his second phase of specialized medical treatment in Malaysia.
He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) late Wednesday night (October 14, 2026). His spouse, central leader and Mahila Dal President Afroza Abbas, accompanied him throughout the trip and on the return flight.
Mirza Abbas had traveled to Kuala Lumpur for advanced medical consultations and routine procedures under specialist care. Following a successful course of treatment, the veteran politician has returned in improved health and is set to resume his party activities and government advisory responsibilities in the capital.
