The new committee was unveiled during the organization's 6th National Youth Convention held at the Engineers Institution Auditorium in Ramna, Dhaka, on Friday (September 25, 2026). Islami Andolan Bangladesh Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, popular as Charmonai Pir, dissolved the outgoing committee and solemnly announced the incoming leadership. Outgoing Secretary General Mufti Mansur Ahmad Saqi succeeds Atiqur Rahman Mujahid as Central President, while outgoing Joint Secretary General Mufti Rahmatullah Bin Habib steps up as Secretary General. Additionally, A H M Alauddin and Advocate Bayezid were appointed as Vice Presidents. Addressing the gathering, party leadership emphasized the role of youth activists during the July Mass Uprising and called on members to prepare for upcoming local government elections and national rebuilding initiatives under Shariah principles.
