A memorial discussion, condolence gathering, and prayer session were held in Pirojpur to seek forgiveness for the departed souls of Bachchu Sheikh, a leader of the Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal, and Mizan Sheikh, Organizational Secretary of the District Krishak Dal.

The program took place after Maghrib prayers on Friday (October 9) at the office of the Pirojpur Municipal Matsyajibi Dal along the town's bypass road.

Presided over by Pirojpur Municipal Matsyajibi Dal President Md. Shahin Sheikh and moderated by General Secretary Md. Lokman Hossain, the event saw the attendance of several local political figures. Prominent attendees included District Matsyajibi Dal President Tarikul Islam Najibull, District BNP Convening Committee Member Akhtaruzzaman Sheikh Rahat, Senior Vice President of District Matsyajibi Dal Emdadul Khan Mamun, and Sadar Thana Krishak Dal President Atiqur Rahman Parvez, along with leaders from affiliated organizations.

Bachchu Sheikh served as the General Secretary of Ward No. 5 Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal under Pirojpur Municipality, while Mizan Sheikh was actively serving as the Organizational Secretary of the District Krishak Dal. Attendees expressed deep grief over their passing and offered prayers for their eternal peace.
