Plot Underway to Create Anarchy Using Black Money of Defeated Forces: BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi
BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi addressing the Jonoadhikar Party seminar on state reconstruction and security vigilance in Dhaka.

BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that a conspiracy is underway to create anarchy, bombings, and sabotage across the country using illicit wealth accumulated and hidden domestically during the previous Awami League regime.

Speaking as the chief guest on Tuesday (October 13, 2026) at a discussion and award ceremony organized by the Bangladesh Jonoadhikar Party at the Engineers Institution auditorium in Dhaka, Rizvi called upon democratic political parties and citizens to remain vigilant day and night. He noted that while a vast portion of laundered wealth was funneled abroad, remaining domestic black money is being deployed to destabilize the nation. However, he reassured the gathering that government security agencies and law enforcement remain on high alert to foil these blueprints.

Highlighting economic destruction under the past administration, Rizvi disclosed that default loans in the banking sector have soared to ৳607,000 crore (৳6.07 lakh crore) due to systemic looting. He lauded the courage of the youth in restoring democracy and urged all political organizations to maintain communal harmony to ensure that the Hindu community can celebrate Durga Puja peacefully and safely. The event was presided over by Bangladesh Jonoadhikar Party Chairman Mohammad Ismail Samrat, with senior leaders Barkat Ullah Bulu, Moazzem Hossain Alal, Subrata Chowdhury, and Saiful Huq in attendance.
