The upcoming Bollywood film "Urta Teer", starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, has been denied screening permission in Nepal. Upon reviewing the movie prior to its release, Nepal's Central Film Censors Board decided against granting public exhibition clearance.

According to a letter sent by Nepal's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology to the film's distributor, National Cine Group Nepal, the decision was made under Section 8(3) of the country's National Cinema (Production, Exhibition and Distribution) Act, 2026. The board determined that the film's content falls under prohibited categories outlined in the law, though specific scenes or reasons were not explicitly detailed in the ministry's letter.

Directed by Akash Kaushik, the film explores tensions between India and Pakistan and was scheduled for release in India on October 23.
