Korean-American singer-songwriter EJ, who gained worldwide fame for her tracks in the Netflix animated film "K-Pop: Demon Hunters," has tied the knot with music producer and lyricist Sam Kim.
The wedding ceremony took place on Saturday in Seoul, South Korea, and was later revealed in an interview published by Vogue on Monday. The couple first met in 2017 during a songwriting session, transitioning from collaborators to friends and eventually romantic partners.
Although they got engaged in October 2023, they kept details private until EJ shared photos on Instagram in January 2026. Beyond their marriage, Sam has been a crucial creative and emotional pillar in EJ's career, helping her manage stage fright, reviewing her demos, and contributing to her musical journey from her early hits like "Psycho" to recent projects.
