The decision was finalized during an emergency meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring held at 9:00 AM. Under the updated tariff schedule, high-quality 22-karat gold now stands at BDT 2,30,772 per bhori (11.664 grams), down from BDT 2,32,930 recorded on Sunday. Prices for 21-karat gold have been revised to BDT 2,20,391 per bhori, 18-karat gold to BDT 1,89,248 per bhori, and traditional method gold to BDT 1,54,256 per bhori. In alignment with gold price adjustments, BAJUS also scaled down silver rates, fixing 22-karat silver at BDT 4,491 per bhori, 21-karat at BDT 4,316, 18-karat at BDT 3,732, and traditional silver at BDT 2,799 per bhori.
