Production momentum and worker activity have rebounded across various readymade garment factories in Gazipur's Kaliakair industrial zone following a recent increase in natural gas pressure.
Over the past few days, Titas Gas initiatives raised system pressure from critically low levels of 1-1.5 PSI up to 6.59 PSI in certain areas, enabling boilers and heavy machinery to operate normally.
While factory authorities and administrative officers like Nur Garment's administrative official Jahirul Islam welcomed the improvement in fulfilling pending export orders, they emphasized that continued financial support, banking cooperation, and provisions for paying deferred utility bills in installments are necessary to recover from months of heavy losses caused by severe energy shortages.
