Bangladesh Bank Warns Public Against Transactions on 22 Unlicensed Online Payment Platforms
Bangladesh Bank cautions the public against engaging in transactions through 22 unlicensed payment aggregator platforms to prevent fraud and financial loss.

Bangladesh Bank has urged the public to refrain from conducting financial transactions through 22 unauthorized online payment aggregator platforms operating without central bank approval.

In a notice issued on Sunday (September 27, 2026), the central bank emphasized that providing payment services without authorization constitutes a illegal and punishable offense under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2024. To protect financial assets and avoid legal complications, Bangladesh Bank advised citizens and commercial entities to immediately cease using or operating through these unlicensed entities.
