A cleanliness and anti-plastic pollution campaign has been successfully conducted in Sherpur.
On Saturday morning (September 19), under the initiative of the district administration, a cleanup and anti-mosquito program was carried out along both sides of the road stretching from in front of the Assistant Commissioner (Land) office in Madhabpur to the Government Girls' High School. Deputy Commissioner Farida Yasmin attended the event as the chief guest.
The program was also attended by Zilla Parishad Administrator ABM Mamunur Rashid Palash, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Shakil Ahmed, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Asma Binte Rofiq, RDC Md. Anwar Hossain, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahmudul Hasan, Sherpur Press Club Executive President Rafiq Majid, BNP leader Akramuzzaman Rahat, District Rover Scout General Secretary Md. Mujibur Rahman, and Blood Soldier Bangladesh Foundation Founder Md. Al Amin Raju, alongside officials and employees from various government offices, volunteers, and scout members.
