A preparatory meeting was held in Homna to ensure the smooth, peaceful, and successful celebration of the upcoming Sharadiya Durgotsav-1433.
On Saturday afternoon (September 19) at 4:00 PM, the meeting took place at the Homna Gopal Jiu Akhra Temple under the initiative of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Front, Homna Upazila branch. Presidents and general secretaries of 47 puja mandaps across Homna upazila, along with Hindu community leaders, participated in the event.
The meeting featured detailed discussions on overall preparations, security, discipline, ensuring hassle-free celebrations for devotees, and successfully executing the festival.
Attendees included Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Front Homna Upazila branch Chief Advisor Babu Jugal Kishore Bhoumik, Advisor Babu Chandra Hans Roy, Upazila branch President Anshuman Roy Liton, General Secretary Lion Dilip Chandra Deb, along with other leaders including Babu Ajay Lal Poddar and Ajit Kumar Saha.
During the session, presidents and general secretaries of 52 puja mandaps presented the preparations and various updates for their respective venues. Leaders emphasized that everyone must play a responsible role to ensure the upcoming Sharadiya Durgotsav is completed in a joyful environment through mutual cooperation, harmony, and coordination.
Presidents and general secretaries from all 9 unions of Homna upazila under the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Front were present at the meeting.
Organizers expressed hope that Sharadiya Durgotsav-1433 will be celebrated smoothly and orderly across every puja mandap in Homna, maintaining religious solemnity, festive joy, and social harmony.
