Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Minister Prof. Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain stated that people will not need to go anywhere for family cards, as they will reach everyone's homes when the time comes. He made these remarks while addressing a rally organized by the Shalchuria Union BNP at the Tikhur field in Nawabganj as the chief guest.
He also urged all BNP leaders and activists to remain united in preventing rumors and highlighted ongoing and future development initiatives, including healthcare improvements, road construction, unemployment resolution, stipends for poor students, and grants for religious institutions.
The exchange meeting was held on Friday (September 25) afternoon, presided over by former Nawabganj Upazila Chairman Md. Mokbular Rahman Gorki. Special guests included the Minister's Assistant Private Secretary Dr. Md. Javed Hossain, Personal Officer Golam Mostafa Ranu, District BNP Vice-President Atiqur Rahman Raja, Upazila BNP Acting President Tarikul Islam, and Acting General Secretary Md. Iqbal Hossain, alongside other local BNP and affiliate leaders. During the meeting, Minister Dr. Zahid Hossain listened to grassroots problems from leaders of all 9 wards of Shalchuria Union and assured them of solutions. Following the meeting, the Minister personally planted two saplings on the west side of the Tikhur field.
