As part of central programs, the district units of Juba Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal held a protest procession in Rangpur to protest against any planned terrorism and attempts to destabilize the country. The procession started on Friday (September 25) afternoon after Asr prayers from the party office at Grand Hotel Mor in the city.
The procession marched through Walton Mor, the Press Club, and Jahaz Company Mor before returning to Grand Hotel Mor to conclude with a short rally. The rally was presided over by Rangpur District Juba Dal President and Central Juba Dal Vice-President Nazmul Alam Naju.
Speeches were delivered by Rangpur District Juba Dal Acting General Secretary Shah Zillur Rahman James, Senior Vice-President Rakib Hossain, Member Secretary Zakaria Aslam Zim, District Swechchhasebak Dal Senior Joint Convener Al Amin Islam, Joint Convener Jonaed Chowdhury, and Fazle Rabbi Babu, among others.
Additionally, Rangpur District Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Aftabuzzaman Sujon, Joint Conveners Sakhawat Hossain Sajib and Md. Akash, along with district Chhatra Dal member Fazle Rabbi and various leaders and activists from Juba Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal, participated in the event.
Speakers at the rally urged leaders and activists to remain united in resisting any conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the country through planned violence and anarchy, while affirming that peaceful programs will continue as per central directives.
