The farm visit and picnic of the 165th batch of livestock and poultry farming, first aid, fisheries, and agriculture training at the Rajabarihat Youth Development Training Center in Godagari Upazila, Rajshahi, was successfully held under the leadership of PC Afzal Hossain and the supervision of Abu Sayem.
The program concluded on Saturday (September 19) through a series of colorful events throughout the day. During the visit, participants gained practical insights into rearing improved breeds of cattle, modern farm management, preparing balanced feed, maintaining bio-security to prevent disease outbreaks, and implementing practical strategies to ensure farm profitability.
Following the farm visit, a picnic and various traditional sports competitions were organized in a joyful atmosphere at Safina Park. The trainees participated enthusiastically in the lively games, and prizes were later distributed among the winners. The event concluded with everyone enjoying a group lunch before safely returning to their destinations.
The PC of the training center, concerned officers, trainers, and all trainees of the 165th batch were present at the event. Expressing their gratitude to the organizers for arranging such a delightful day, attendees noted that the training programs of the Youth Development Department are playing a vital role in making the country's unemployed youth self-reliant through self-employment, with a firm determination to contribute to the nation's economic development and livestock sector in the future.
