A fire broke out at a shoe factory located on the fourth floor of a seven-story building in the Agamasi Lane area of Old Dhaka. The incident occurred on Monday night at 10:45 PM.
Talha Bin Jasim, media officer for the Fire Service and Civil Defence, stated that upon receiving the news, three firefighting units rushed to the scene and began working to bring the flames under control. Efforts to extinguish the fire were ongoing at the time of the latest updates. The immediate cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be determined right away.
Prior to this incident, at around 10:28 PM, another fire broke out in several structures, including a wooden shop, in the capital's Karwan Bazar area, where eight firefighting units were deployed to tackle the blaze.
