The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected executive committee of the Lohagara Press Club has been successfully completed.
The ceremony was held on Saturday morning, October 31, at the Upazila Parishad Conference Room. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mong Ethen was present as the chief guest and administered the oath to the members of the executive committee.
Additional Superintendent of Police for Satkania Circle, Md. Arifur Islam Siddiqui, was the main speaker at the event. Special guest included Upazila Agriculture Officer Kazi Shafiul Alam. Speakers noted that the new executive committee officially began its activities through this swearing-in ceremony. They emphasized that journalists are the mirror of society—they do not merely collect news, but delve deep into events to bring out the truth despite facing various adversities. Their united effort plays a vital role in the progress of the society and the country.

Members of the press club and officials from various upazila departments were present at the event.
