Local residents of Mostafapur union in Parbatipur upazila accorded a grand civic reception to Alhaj AZM Rezwanul Haque, Member of Parliament for Dinajpur-5 (Parbatipur-Fulbari) and member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Science and Technology. The event was held on Monday evening at the Ambari High School ground.
Chaired by Md. Shahidul Islam and conducted by former union Jubo Dal convener Ashraf Ali, the program drew enthusiastic supporters from all nine wards who arrived in colorful processions carrying musical instruments and slogans. The MP was honored with a crest and floral tributes by organizers and community members.
Prominent attendees included former upazila BNP joint secretary Akram Hossain Master, former Palashbari union chairman Ohidul Islam, and various local BNP, Jubo Dal, and Krishak Dal leaders. During the event, speakers urged the MP to step up administrative efforts against the rising drug menace in Mostafapur, upgrade Ambari into a police station, generate local employment for youth, and ensure continuous regional development. Responding to the warm reception, MP Rezwanul Haque expressed deep gratitude to the people and reaffirmed his commitment to standing by them at all times.
