Marking the occasion, a colorful rally was brought out at 11:00 AM on Sunday from the Sujanagar Upazila Parishad premises, organized jointly by the Upazila Administration and the Department of Youth Development. Participated in by individuals from various walks of life, the rally paraded through the main roads of the pourashava before concluding at the same venue.

Later, a discussion meeting on National Youth Day was held under the chairmanship of Upazila Youth Development Officer Lutfor Rahman, with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mir Rasheduzzaman Rashed gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

In his speech as the chief guest, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mir Rasheduzzaman Rashed stated that the government is actively working to transform youth into skilled human resources through training, create employment opportunities within the country, and earn foreign exchange by sending skilled manpower abroad to build the nation.
Following the discussion meeting, youth loan checks totaling Tk 6.20 lakh and saplings were distributed among eight individuals who had completed training in youth development.
