A introductory view-exchange meeting was held between newly appointed Pirojpur Superintendent of Police Muhammad Talebur Rahman, PPM-Seba, and local print and electronic media journalists at the SP office conference room on Sunday morning (September 27). Addressing the gathering, the Superintendent of Police asserted that district police would maintain zero tolerance against terrorists, illegal firearm possessors, extortionists, and drug dealers with utmost professionalism. Seeking active cooperation from journalists and citizens to maintain law and order, he emphasized strengthening police-public ties through Bit Policing, Community Policing, and Open House Day programs, while also reviewing security preparations for the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja. Additional Superintendent of Police Nasrin Jahan, Sadar Police Station OC Shariful Islam, alongside senior journalists Mahmud Hossain, Muniruzzaman Nasim Ali, and SM Rezaul Islam Shamim, were present at the meeting.
