Following recent arson attacks on buses in Mirpur and Badda, a seized pickup van parked in front of the South Keraniganj Police Station was set on fire.
The incident took place on the road right outside the South Keraniganj Police Station on Saturday night (September 19) at around 9:30 PM.
Confirming the matter, Inspector (Investigation) Azgar Ali of South Keraniganj Police Station stated that unidentified miscreants set fire to the seized pickup parked in front of the station around 9:30 PM. He added that law enforcement is looking into the matter, and further details will be provided later.
Earlier on Saturday evening, separate arson attacks were reported on two passenger buses in Mirpur and a staff bus in Madhya Badda.
