A prayer gathering (dua mahfil) was held to pray for the speedy recovery and good health of Md. Mizan Sheikh, Organizing Secretary of the Pirojpur District branch of the Jatiyatabadi Krishok Dal. The event took place on Tuesday morning (September 29, 2026) at 10:00 AM at the Pirojpur District BNP office under the initiative of the District Krishok Dal.
Prior to the prayer, a discussion meeting was held where speakers highlighted Mizan Sheikh's political career and prayed for his swift recovery. Noting that a significant amount of money is required for his treatment, they urged political leaders, activists, and well-off members of society to come forward and support his family.
The program was presided over by District Krishok Dal President Nasir Ahmed Bachchu and conducted by General Secretary Habib Khan. Among the speakers were Pirojpur District Council Administrator Principal Alamgir Hossain, District BNP Member Secretary Saidul Islam Kismat, Pourashava BNP President Sheikh Shahidullah Shahid, Rezaউল Haque Riaz, former District Jubo Dal President Mizanur Rahman Sahin, Member Secretary Emdadul Haque Masud, District Sramik Dal President Abdus Salam Baten, and Matsyajibi Dal President Tarikul Islam Nazibul, alongside other leaders from the BNP and its affiliated organizations. The meeting concluded with a special prayer seeking Mizan Sheikh's quick recovery, good health, and long life.
