The Pirojpur district branch of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal staged a procession and rally on Thursday afternoon (September 24) in protest against attempts to destabilize the country through planned terrorism. The procession started around 4:00 PM from in front of the district BNP office on Post Office Road in the town and ended at the same spot after parading through various streets.
Prior to the procession, a brief rally was held in front of the BNP office, presided over by District Sramik Dal President and valiant freedom fighter Abdus Salam Baten and conducted by District Sramik Dal General Secretary Afzal Hossain Tipu.
Other prominent speakers included Pirojpur District Council Administrator Principal Alamgir Hossain and District BNP Convenor Nazrul Islam Khan, alongside leaders and activists of the BNP and its affiliated organizations. Speakers at the rally addressed the country's political situation and called upon party activists to remain united against the activities of the so-called "autocrats" and their cohorts.
