Jahangirabad High School has secured the top position in Pirganj upazila, Rangpur, in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations. Out of 85 students who appeared from the institution, 83 successfully passed, boasting an impressive pass rate of 97.65% with 12 students achieving the coveted GPA-5.

To celebrate this remarkable milestone, a grand reception was held on Wednesday at the school premises, honoring all 80 graduating students, including the 12 GPA-5 achievers. Presided over by the school's Headmaster Rezaul Kabir, the event featured Rangpur District Council Administrator and District BNP Convener Saiful Islam as the chief guest.

Special guests included Pirganj Upazila BNP President Mahmudunnabi Chowdhury Palash, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Abdur Rahman, Academic Supervisor Sajedul Bari, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Ataur Rahman Bitu, Pirganj Pourashava BNP Founding President Shahidul Islam Sebu, Pirganj BASHIS General Secretary Abu Azad Bablu, Panchgachhi Union BNP President Ekramul Haque, and brilliant students Monisha Begum and Rakib Hasan, among others.

In his address, chief guest Saiful Islam remarked, "This success belongs not just to the students, but is the collective fruit of relentless effort by teachers and parents. Alongside academic excellence, students must be nurtured with strong morality, patriotism, and human values so they can serve the nation and society." Congratulating the GPA-5 achievers, he urged educators to maintain an enriching learning environment and pay special attention to struggling students.

The event saw enthusiastic attendance from teachers, guardians, and students. Concluding the ceremony, guests handed over crests and gifts to the GPA-5 achievers, while District Council Administrator Saiful Islam distributed fruit-bearing and forestry saplings among all students on behalf of the Union BNP and inaugurated the roof-casting work for the school's new academic building.
