The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has announced that the results of the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published nationwide on Saturday, October 31, at 11:00 AM. In a significant technical update, authorities have changed the official SMS shortcode for fetching results from 16222 to 16140.
Students and guardians can access the results simultaneously from their respective educational institutions, official online portals, and mobile SMS services. To get results via SMS, candidates must type HSC followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board name, their roll number, and the exam year (2026), then send the message to 16140 (e.g., HSC DHA 123456 2026). Results will also be hosted online on eduboardresult.gov.bd, educationboardresults.gov.bd, and individual education board websites. The committee explicitly emphasized that no physical results will be distributed directly from board offices, the Ministry of Education, or newspaper desks.
