Ranbir Kapoor Addresses Online Trolls and Criticism Over 'Ramayana'
Media coverage and promotional events surrounding Nitesh Tiwari's epic feature Ramayana.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has broken his silence regarding online trolling and criticism surrounding his highly anticipated epic film Ramayana. Ever since the release of the movie's promotional teasers and soundtrack, social media users have offered mixed reviews alongside intense online scrutiny.

Speaking at a recent public event, Ranbir brushed off negative online commentary, emphasizing that public figures should not overthink online trolling. "A unique feature of present times is how easily online trolling takes up space. I believe in that classic song's philosophy, 'Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna' (People will always talk, it's their job to talk). I think following this philosophy in life is best. There is no need to worry about what everyone says. Instead, focus on those who care about your work and value your opinions," he stated.

Ranbir’s remark echoes an iconic scene from his 2018 hit Sanju, where Paresh Rawal (playing Sunil Dutt) gave similar advice to Sanjay Dutt. Meanwhile, anticipation for Nitesh Tiwari's directorial Ramayana continues to build following special preview screenings in the US. Boasting an ensemble cast including Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, the magnum opus is set for release in 40 languages.
