In a social media statement posted on X, Brigadier General Akraminia stated that the Iranian armed forces are closely tracking all US military movements in the Middle East. Directing his statement at President Trump, he asserted that if the United States along with Israel executes "another reckless adventure," Iran will deliver an immediate and significant retaliatory response. "There is no doubt that the flames of war will engulf a much wider area," Akraminia declared, adding that "how the conflict ends will not be within Trump's control."

Criticizing Washington’s past diplomatic conduct, the IRGC spokesman accused Trump of betraying diplomatic engagements. He noted that in light of Trump's untrustworthy posture, Iran’s armed forces are continuously strengthening their combat readiness and defense posture. The statements highlight Tehran's view that any joint US-Israeli military action will mark the trigger point for wider regional warfare.
