
DHAKA — Filing cases on paper is now history: e-filing became mandatory in all district courts this week, with cause lists, certified copies and summons moving online alongside.
Bar leaders welcomed shorter queues but demanded better internet in court premises and training for senior lawyers.
The judiciary says the system already cut average filing time from three days to forty minutes.
