A fire broke out on the third floor of a four-story building in the Haq Bakery alley of Nazira Bazar in Old Dhaka late Monday night (September 21).
Upon receiving information around 12:30 AM, three firefighting units rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control by 12:46 AM. According to Rafi Al Faruk, Duty Officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, the flames were completely extinguished by 1:40 AM.
No immediate casualties or estimates of financial damage were reported following the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
