Leading telecommunications service provider Grameenphone has signed a 10-year strategic partnership with Bangladesh Police to support the law enforcement agency through connectivity and digital services. The agreement was recently signed at the Bangladesh Police Headquarters in Dhaka. Under the contract, the operator will provide necessary connection services for the official mobile number series (01320000000–01320299999) of Bangladesh Police, as well as their official and solution-based numbers. This partnership also includes connectivity and related support for major digital platforms such as Online GD and the Crime Data Management System (CDMS).

The agreement was signed by Additional DIG (Headquarters) Md. Sharif Uddin on behalf of Bangladesh Police and Head of Law Enforcement Agencies Business Helal Uddin Ahmed on behalf of Grameenphone. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir and Grameenphone Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yasir Azman were present during the signing ceremony. Other senior officials from both organizations, including Grameenphone Chief Business Officer Asif Naimur Rashid and Chief Human Resources Officer Syed Tahia Hossain, were also in attendance.
