No Conspiracy Can Suppress Democracy-Loving People, Warns PM Tariq Rahman at Sovereignty Rally
Massive public procession reaching Manik Mia Avenue during the National Revolution and Solidarity Day rally.

Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tariq Rahman has declared that no conspiracy will ever succeed in suppressing the democracy-loving people of Bangladesh. Warning against renewed domestic and international plots to destabilize the nation’s independence, he pledged a decisive response reminiscent of the historic Sepoy-People's Uprising of November 7, 1975.

Addressing a sea of supporters gathered in front of the BNP Central Office at Naya Paltan on Saturday afternoon, November 7, 2026, prior to flagging off the 'Sovereignty Rally' (Sarbabhaumatwa Rally), PM Rahman stated that November 7 symbolizes national unity, national sovereignty, and the fulfillment of public aspirations. Reiterating the mandate of the August 5, 2024 mass uprising, he cautioned that anti-democratic forces seeking to restore autocratic system arrangements or manipulated elections would be defeated by the united citizenry.

Leading national slogans directly from the stage, the Prime Minister proclaimed: "Neither Delhi, nor Pindi, nor any other foreign land—Bangladesh First Above All, Bangladesh for Everyone." Following the pre-rally assembly with senior leaders—including Mirza Abbas, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahuddin Ahmed, Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, and Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi—PM Rahman marched on foot across central Dhaka, greeting crowds along the route before delivering his concluding address at Manik Mia Avenue at 4:30 PM.
