Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended as the Chief Guest to inaugurate the Bangladesh Solar Expo 2026 on Tuesday morning, November 3, 2026, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Iqbal Hasan Mahmud. The theme for this year's expo is "Utilize Every Inch of Rooftop, Increase Earnings from Solar Energy."
