A 41-member, three-year-tenured executive committee for Sherpur district was formed during the session, with Rotarian Md. Nazmul Alam as Chairman, Apexian Alamgir Hossain as Secretary, and Khairul Islam as Organizing Secretary.

Zila Parishad Administrator ABM Mamunur Rashid Palash attended the discussion meeting organized at the conference as the chief guest. Environmentalist and Senior Vice-President of Sherpur Press Club Md. Mugniur Rahman Moni addressed the gathering as the keynote speaker. Presided over by the organization's President Md. Nazmul Alam, the meeting was also addressed by former councilor Nur Jahan Begum, Harun Jilani, former bank official Golam Mostafa Akand, Kazi Abujar Md. Al Amin, Md. Khairul Islam, blood donor activist Al Amin Raju, and Tahmina Joly, among others.

The event was moderated by the organization's Secretary Alamgir Hossain. Chief Guest and Zila Parishad Administrator ABM Mamunur Rashid Palash stated that all workers and members of human rights groups must first possess human qualities so that they can stand beside people in realizing rights without personal bias. Urging organizational members, he noted that some claim to defend people's rights yet only cause further harassment and suffering, a practice members of this platform must avoid. He added that former councilor Nur Jahan Begum was once critically injured in political violence and hospitalized, but no human rights group stood by her at that time, prompting him to call upon human rights bodies to always remain detached from politics.
