Gas supply will remain suspended for eight hours on Thursday (September 10) in several areas of the capital due to valve installation work on both sides of the railway line at the Shahjahanpur railway crossing and tie-in work for relocating the distribution line of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway project.

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited announced the development in a press release on Wednesday (September 9).

According to Titas Gas, the supply will be shut off from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Basabo, Khilgaon, Madartek, Shahjahanpur, Sipahibag, Tilpa Para, Malibagh, Shantibagh, Taltola Market, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Gas supply to all residential and commercial customers in these areas will remain temporarily suspended during this period. Additionally, nearby areas may experience low gas pressure. Titas Gas authorities expressed sincere regret to their customers for the temporary inconvenience.
