A fire broke out at a paint shop adjacent to the Mohakhali Cholera Hospital in the capital on Wednesday afternoon, with two firefighting units responding to extinguish the blaze. No casualties have been reported so far.

Duty Officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters, Rashed Bin Khalid, confirmed the incident at 3:00 PM on Wednesday (September 9).

"We received news of the fire at a paint shop near the Cholera Hospital at 2:16 PM," he said. "Two units from the Fire Service immediately dispatched to the scene and began operations to bring the flames under control."

He added that no injuries or fatalities have been reported as of yet, and efforts to fully extinguish the fire remain ongoing.
