Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that the opposition has chosen the path of conspiracy to obstruct the democratic transition and destabilize the country. Speaking at a political discussion in the capital on Wednesday (September 9), he remarked that failure in democratic politics has led certain groups to orchestrate behind-the-scenes plots against public interests.

Rizvi emphasized that the people of Bangladesh are politically conscious and will foil any attempts to derail the nation's progress or undermine state stability. He urged the administration and law enforcement agencies to remain vigilant against anti-state elements and conspirators. Furthermore, he called upon all democratic forces to unite and safeguard the hard-earned rights achieved through recent mass sacrifices, ensuring that accountability and good governance are firmly established.
