Senior teacher Jahangir Alam of Jashore Muslim Academy School was given a warm farewell on a horse-drawn carriage. On Thursday afternoon, the school authority and former students jointly organized the farewell ceremony at the school's hall room.

Presided over by Headmaster Pallab Kanti Ghosh, speeches were delivered by Assistant Headmaster Tapan Tarafdar, Assistant Teacher H. M. Iqbal, Assistant Teacher Toyeba Khatun, Teacher Representative Zillur Rahman, Assistant Teacher Salma Akter, and former students Mariam Khatun, Abu Bakkar, and Naoshin Afia, with the event conducted by Assistant Teacher Raju Ahmed. Following the discussion, gifts were presented to the outgoing teacher Jahangir Alam on behalf of the teachers, former students, and current students. Afterwards, he was escorted from the school to his residence in Dharmatala Kadamtala on a horse-drawn carriage.

Senior teacher Jahangir Alam joined the school on May 11, 2000, and retired on July 30, 2026. Prior to his teaching career, he served as an officer at Ispahani Group.
