During a drive conducted by the upazila administration in the Sukurer Hat Genarpara area of Mithapukur upazila, Rangpur, factory owner Mokhlesur Rahman was fined Tk 1,500,000 for producing adulterated jaggery with unhygienic ingredients in an unhealthy environment.

 Additionally, vehicle owner Morshalin was fined Tk 10,000 due to transportation involvement.

 Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Ashik Zaman led the mobile court operation conducted on Wednesday (September 9). Officials stated that such drives to protect public health and curb food adulteration and unhygienic production practices will continue.
