In a verified Facebook post on Saturday, he urged authorities to step away from divisive political games, respect merit, and recognize that a candidate's qualifications should be the sole criterion for government jobs rather than political loyalty.
Warning that the public will not tolerate any diplomatic or covert maneuvers reminiscent of past authoritarian regimes, the Opposition Leader called on the youth and talented generation to remain vocal for their rights, asserting that compromise would transform Bangladesh into a sanctuary for meritless fascism.
